With a unique blend of expertise in municipal planning, AI-driven decision-making, data analytics, and project management, I specialize in creating efficient systems that enhance governance, streamline planning processes, and improve community engagement.
As a Community Planner, I have developed Power BI analytics dashboards to track housing metrics, streamlined municipal processes through automation, and led the creation of new development policies and bylaws. My work spans research, policy development, and engagement strategies to help make data-informed, transparent decisions.
Beyond planning, I have established a business specializing in AI integration and training, helping professionals and organizations leverage AI tools effectively. My expertise includes optimizing websites for AI-generated searches, setting up custom AI assistants (GPTs and chatbots), teaching prompt engineering, crafting AI-driven content strategies, and creating AI-powered videos and images. I have worked with senior directors at international companies, small business owners, private professionals, and municipal colleagues to help them harness AI for efficiency and growth.
Further to this, I bring nearly two decades of experience in project management and digital strategy.
I am passionate about redefining how technology and data can support resilient, adaptable communities. With a background in policy planning, stakeholder engagement, AI applications, and digital transformation, I bridge the gap between traditional workflows and emerging technological solutions.
Hi there! I’m Regor, and I am a fresh urban planner with expertise in leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) in planning processes.
Recently graduating from planning school, my thesis research was titled “Evolving the Planning Paradigm: A Machine Learning Framework for Efficient City Planning.” My research explored the ethical application of AI, regulations from all over the world, and introduced a framework for proactive AI integration.
I’m particularly interested in the intersection of AI and urban planning. I’ve attended events like Microsoft’s AI for Government, where I gained insights into how AI can revolutionize planning processes and government operations. In addition, I’ve hosted various AI discussions in an academic and professional setting that allowed me to understand the concerns and challenges of AI adoption.
I’m open to networking opportunities, collaborations, and discussions around urban planning and AI technology. Feel free to reach out if AI interests you in your planning practice!
